I made a freebie for you! I have plans to make a little collection of activities with the Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie book, but I am not sure if I will get them done in time. So, I decided to post the one I do have done as a freebie! It's a sequencing activity. I am the English Language Development teachers for first grade, which means the state puts some hefty rules on us about how long we teach what subject, etc. Oral language is a huge part of that, so everything I make has to have some sort of oral language piece. This activity is a cut and paste sequencing activity with an oral language part to it. The kiddos have to color and cut out the Old Lady and the things she ate. Then they have to glue them onto the strip of paper in order of how she ate them. After that, they have to retell the story to a friend. Enjoy!
